  • About:  The IDEA Committee ensures that equity, diversity, and accessibility serve as guiding principles across all theatre operations.
    From supporting staff, artists, and patrons on DEI issues, to shaping inclusive hiring and staffing practices, to ensuring inclusive ADA practices and programs are implemented.
    This committee collaborates across all teams to foster a welcoming and equitable community environment.

  • Meeting Frequency:  TBD; expected Seasonal 
  • About:  Established in our bylaws to support artistic vision, the Play-Reading Committee collaborates directly with the Leadership Team and Artistic Director.  
    Members read and evaluate script submissions and play proposals to assist in curating inspiring, engaging lineup options for upcoming theatrical seasons.
    Members also serve as play selection readers in service to the Festival Coordinator for quarterly or bi-annual festivals of original short plays.

  • About:  The Marketing & Fundraising Committee powers our theater’s reach, relationships, and financial sustainability.
    Members work on designing promotional plans, driving fundraising initiatives and grant tracking, and building meaningful partnerships within the broader community to ensure our productions and programs thrive.
    Members also take the lead on fundraising event logistics and planning, with the full board ensuring fulfillment and volunteer recruitment.

  • About:  The Board Recruitment & Strategic Planning Committee focuses on strengthening the organization's governance and long-term vision.
    Duties include updating the recruitment process to build a diverse, skilled board that addresses key demographic needs, developing board training and resources, and adjusting our strategic plan to support an organizational restructure and build a sustainable business model that will guide the theatre's future  direction through 5- and 10-year strategic plans.
